About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a team campaigning hard for climate justice and international financial institution reform. This role will be part of a team charged with executing a series of excellent direct actions calling out blockers and generating pressure on decision makers.
This is an hourly position, with an estimated workload of 5-10 hours per week.
Responsibilities
Administrative Support
- Invoices and reimbursements: help process reimbursements on our payment platform, checking that receipts match the amount. Update the budget spending accordingly.
- Schedule meetings, organise group chats, take notes during meetings and support Zoom hosting during the meetings. Reach out to GAT partners to find meeting times.
- Do weekly press hit tracking, spending one to two hours a week updating our database
Programmatic Support
- Support with timelines and deadlines, helping the team keep on track: setting reminders, sending messages to team chat, keeping folders in check and updating the project management software
- Logistical support on tours: support with material sourcing, printing coordination, accommodation finding and scouting reports
- Run press tracking reports when necessary
- Help institutionalise GAT processes, supporting the use of templates and ‘how to’s’
Other duties under this scope of work, as agreed upon by GAT supervisor and contractor.
Qualifications
- +2 years of experience in project management or project coordination
- Excellent project management and budget management skills
- Impeccable time management skills, and ability to respect deadlines
- An interest in climate justice and key stakeholders of the climate crisis at a global level
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English, other languages a plus
- Ability to work remotely, preferably within the Central European Timezone or US Eastern Timezone
