Software Developer (Embedded Systems to Web Applications) - Renewable Energy (Berlin/Remote)
Ammonit Measurement GmbH, a world market leader in high-quality measurement equipment for the wind and solar energy sectors since 1989, is seeking a passionate and versatile Software Developer to join our diverse team in Berlin-Kreuzberg and/or remotely.
Shape the future of green energy! You will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, from embedded systems and network programming to crafting web applications for our cutting-edge renewable energy solutions.
Your Responsibilities:
Develop embedded systems, applications, and network solutions using C (Linux, Modbus, XMPP).
Design, implement, and test Python and JavaScript applications (Django, PostgreSQL, vue.js), including Debian package creation.
Maintain and optimize our containers and services, driving automation efforts.
Provide technical support and training to our global customer base.
Your Profile:
Development Engineer with a Master's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
Proven experience: at least 2 years of professional experience OR demonstrable relevant experience.
Genuine interest and enthusiasm for renewable energy, particularly wind and solar.
A responsible, self-motivated, and team-oriented individual with a friendly attitude and a generalist skillset.
Required: European work permit and German language skills (opportunities for improvement provided).
