Tasks
- After technical and professional training by experienced colleagues, you will become our software specialist (m/f/d) in the Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) department
- Programming for internal and external customers in the defense sector as well as further development and support of existing software
- Opportunity for long-term career development as a specialist (m/f/d) in software development with prospects in project management or consulting
- Collaboration on varied customer projects and own industry solutions as a Java developer (m/f/d)
- Carrying out analysis, design, coding and testing for complex development tasks
- Supporting existing applications and working in a team to implement customer-specific requirements
Requirements for
Technical Skills
- Programming: Advanced knowledge of Java SE and EE, experience with Java 8+ features (streams, lambda expressions). C/C++ knowledge is an advantage.
- JBoss EAP: Experience with Java application servers, especially JBoss Enterprise Application Platform 7.x, including configuration and administration.
- Database knowledge: Sound knowledge of SQL; experience with DB2 is welcome.
- Frameworks and libraries: Experience with VAADIN 14 an advantage.
- Development tools: Experience with IntelliJ IDEA as IDE and knowledge of Maven for project and build management.
- Architecture and Design: Understanding of multi-module systems and their architecture and experience in developing and maintaining large, modular applications.
Experience And Background
- Professional experience: Several years of professional experience in Java development (at least 3-5 years). Previous work experience with the mentioned technologies and tools.
- Materials management processes: Experience in the application and management of materials management processes according to ASD Spec 2000M Chapter 1 is desirable.
Additional Qualifications
- Certifications: Certificates in Java, JBoss or DB2 are an advantage.
- Languages: Good written and spoken German and English.
