Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and budget, in alignment with organizational goals and client requirements.
- Coordinate and oversee project activities, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Monitor project progress and performance metrics, identifying and resolving issues to achieve project milestones and deliverables.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, suppliers, government authorities, and local communities.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met and expectations are managed.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure project continuity.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, environmental standards, and health and safety protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
- Allocate resources effectively, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to optimize project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate procurement activities, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships to support project deliverables.
- Monitor project expenditures and financial performance, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints and financial forecasts.
- Prepare regular progress reports, financial statements, and presentations for stakeholders and senior management.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience 5+ in project management, specifically within the energy sector (renewable and/or conventional energy projects).
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural environment and manage relationships across diverse stakeholders.
