Culture Guardian & Architect
- Preserve and evolve our core values (proactive, smart, humble, hungry) as we scale from 10 to 50+ team members
- Design experiences that strengthen team connection across time zones and continents
- Create rituals, traditions, and touchpoints that make remote work feel genuinely collaborative
- Monitor culture health through regular pulse checks and proactive conversations
Talent Acquisition Excellence
- Build and execute hiring strategies that attract A-players who elevate our entire team
- Develop interviewing processes that identify not just skills, but cultural DNA
- Source exceptional talent through creative channels beyond traditional job boards
- Partner with department leads to anticipate hiring needs and build talent pipelines
People Experience & Development
- Design onboarding experiences that transform new hires into culture champions within their first 30 days
- Create development pathways that help team members grow while staying aligned with our values
- Implement feedback systems and performance frameworks that drive excellence
- Be the go-to person for team happiness, addressing concerns before they become problems
Systems & Infrastructure
- Establish HR systems and tools that support our rapid growth
- Develop policies and processes that scale while maintaining our flexibility and autonomy
- Handle all compliance and legal HR requirements across multiple jurisdictions
- Create documentation and SOPs that preserve institutional knowledge
Remote-First Culture Development
- Design virtual team building initiatives that actually build real connections
- Optimize our Slack and Notion workflows for maximum collaboration and transparency
- Create frameworks for effective remote communication and project management
- Plan and execute company retreats and offsites that strengthen team bonds

REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of People & Culture/HR experience with at least 2 years in high-growth environments
- Proven track record of scaling teams from small to mid-size (20-80 people)
- Deep experience with remote team management and distributed culture building
- Strong understanding of employment law and HR compliance across multiple jurisdictions
- Experience implementing HRIS and people management systems
- Background in creative agencies, marketing, or tech companies preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Slack, Notion, and modern collaboration tools
