Vice President - Private Equity
Asset Partners is exclusively mandated by a leading private equity fund investing across digital infrastructure, enterprise software, and related technology sectors. The firm is looking to appoint an experienced Vice President to join their investment team in Frankfurt. This is a senior role offering broad responsibility across deal sourcing, execution, and portfolio value creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead origination efforts and transaction execution
- Source and take the lead on investment opportunities
- Take board representation and monitor portfolio financial performance
- Manage, mentor, and develop junior team members across multiple roles
Candidate Profile
- 6–12 years of experience, including at least 3 years of growth equity or private equity investing experience. A background in investment banking or consulting is essential
- Strong transaction experience within the technology sector is essential
- Proven ability to manage and guide junior team members, ensuring high-quality output and development
- Exceptional academic background (degree-level education in a relevant field) and a solid foundation of relevant professional experience
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Extensive transaction experience gained within a top-tier growth equity or private equity firm
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills
- Fluency in German is considered a plus
