Software Developer (Embedded Systems to Web Applications) - Renewable Energy (Berlin/Remote)
Ammonit Measurement GmbH, a world market leader in high-quality measurement equipment for the wind and solar energy sectors since 1989, is seeking a passionate and versatile Software Developer to join our diverse team in Berlin-Kreuzberg and/or remotely.
Shape the future of green energy! You will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, from embedded systems and network programming to crafting web applications for our cutting-edge renewable energy solutions.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop embedded systems, applications, and network solutions using C (Linux, Modbus, XMPP).
- Design, implement, and test Python and JavaScript applications (Django, PostgreSQL, vue.js), including Debian package creation.
- Maintain and optimize our containers and services, driving automation efforts.
- Provide technical support and training to our global customer base.
Your Profile:
- Development Engineer with a Master's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Proven experience: at least 2 years of professional experience OR demonstrable relevant experience.
- Genuine interest and enthusiasm for renewable energy, particularly wind and solar.
- A responsible, self-motivated, and team-oriented individual with a friendly attitude and a generalist skillset.
- Required: European work permit and German language skills (opportunities for improvement provided).
