Your Mission
We're looking for a Software Engineer to be part of the *Onboard Computer and Satellite Subsystems* team to help us reach the next level.
This team is responsible for developing software that runs on our cutting-edge onboard computer to communicate via different interfaces (CAN, Ethernet, PCIe etc.), as
well as on the subsystems we develop in-house.
What The Team Does
- Implement low-level drivers for ARM-based MCUs and external chips on a real-time operating system or bare-metal environment
- Implement satellite subsystems (battery, sun sensor, reaction wheel, ...)
- Interface with the hardware/electronics team to ensure a smooth handover and bring-up of the boards
- Interface with the Mission and Payload software team to provide low level features (communication interface, non-volatile memories, ...)
- Assist with on-orbit flight operations
Your Background
Note: We are recruiting all seniority levels. Senior profiles will be expected to tick more boxes, but we consider all applications, including those from less experienced candidates.
- Expertise in (embedded) C - with a taste for good APIs, performance & reliability
- Proficiency in Python
- Common communication interfaces: CAN + LibCSP, Ethernet, SPI, ...
- ARM-based MCUs and their peripherals (Zynq, TMS570, STM32)
- Space environment and its consequences on flight hardware and software
- Nice to have:
- RTEMS, LWIP, PetaLinux
- CCSDS standards, MISRA
- CMake, GitLab CI
- Curiosity to improve the industry's current practices: Rust, formal verification (Frama-C), ...
