Overview:
You'll be managing on automation projects to improve efficiency in its fulfillment and delivery operations, you efforts will be put towards integrating advanced robotics and AI-driven systems into its logistics network.
The work will be in fulfillment centers to streamline operations, reduce manual labor, and enhance speed. These robots assist with sorting, lifting, and transporting packages, contributing to a more automated workflow2.
Scope:
You will be responsible for overseeing the deployment of engineering solutions, including Matrix, ADTFs, ADTAs, ASLs, Tippers, retrofits, EVCP, etc., in existing delivery stations or new greenfield launches.
Travel:
Onsite 75%-100% during project deployment at any delivery station in Germany, Netherlands, and Austria.
Day-to-day Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Field verification of drawings and identifying interferences with existing/new equipment. Raise Monthly Coordination Meetings (MCMs) for different project phases and address concerns from different approver groups prior to starting onsite work.
- Project Execution: Set up and manage daily calls with vendors, operations, warehouse, and reliability maintenance engineering teams. Provide daily report summaries to the Field Engineering Project Manager. Conduct site visits to verify project progress and gather stakeholder/customer feedback. Manage ordered materials, coordinate with operations and reliability maintenance engineering for material movement and installation, and support IT for data cable terminations.
- Project Closure: Obtain and validate documentation from vendors and transfer all documentation to appropriate storage locations.
Basic Qualifications:
- Working experience in Industrial, Mechanical, or Process Engineering.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager for medium complexity projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Excel.
