Your mission
We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Engineer to contribute to building state of the art mission control systems, using data and video feeds for weapon commands and engagement rules.
Responsibilities
- Coding! Developing the backend of our Software Core
- Testing - both software and mission functionality and reliability
- Help improve our Rust and C++ development environment
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending and implementing innovations to improve our products and processes
- Dive deep into the details to identify, understand, and solve difficult technical problems.
- Constantly be challenging requirements to determine what adds value and what is not.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Good proficiency in Rust and C++ development
- Knowledge of autopilot, flight control systems or anything similar is a great bonus
- Relevant industry experience in Automotive, sensors, aerospace, or where real world devices are connected to your software
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment with a strong drive for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Ability to travel as needed.
