Mobile UI/UX Design Internship (Unpaid)
Tasks
At Epapa, we define user experience as the heart of how students engage with STEM education. Our team shapes and evolves the interface across the entire life cycle of our AI-powered learning application. As part of the design team, you’ll play an active role in developing the next generation of educational experiences. You will gain insights into interdisciplinary collaboration, early-stage product development, and modern UX methodologies.
Your key responsibilities may include:
- Creating wireframes, mockups, and user flows
- Developing high-fidelity clickable prototypes, including animations
- Contributing to the design of intuitive and visually engaging mobile user interfaces
- Supporting innovation projects using design thinking and user research methods
- Presenting design concepts to internal stakeholders
- Collaborating with developers and steering external creative partners
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Interaction Design, Communication Design, Digital Media, or a related field
- Personality and work style: self-driven, creative, motivated, team-oriented, solution-focused
- Familiarity with usability principles and prototyping methods
- Confident use of UI tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
- A proactive and independent mindset with a passion for bringing ideas to life in an educational context
- Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX projects
- Languages: English (required); German is a plus
Start date: Flexible
Duration: Approximately 3 months (full-time preferred; part-time arrangements possible)
