Software Engineer - C++, Electrical Engineering - Energy transition - €80k+
Piper Maddox is looking for a Senior/Mid level Software Engineer for a leading business in the heart of the German energy market. The business specializes in grid integration of decentralized renewable energy plants. Contributing to the energy transition and further technical development and integration of renewable energies domestically and internationally.
Role:
- Further development and scalability of optimization platform to support the German energy transition.
- Working on advanced planning and organizational tools for German TSOs, contributing to the future electrical grid.
- Modeling power electronic equipment in load flow calculation (e.g. SSSC, TCSC).
Background:
- Experience with C++ & Python.
- Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering, Power System or Computer Science background.
- Experience within energy sector
- Experience with simulation software and tools
- At least B1 German.
You will be developing applications where you are implementing your skills to make a difference to the renewable energy sector and changing the way energy is produced and stored. These software products and solutions support the operation of the electrical power system and future of energy.
