Salary: €70,000 - €85,000 + 17% bonus (up to €99,450 package)

We have an exciting opportunity with one of our global leading clients. They are looking for a skilled cloud software engineer to join their Cloud Transformation & System Engineering team, supporting clients on their end-to-end cloud journeys.
Job Responsibilities/Objectives
As a Senior Cloud Software Engineer, you will contribute across the entire lifecycle of client projects, from initiation through to go-live. You will play a key role in designing adaptable cloud architectures in agile environments, championing clean code principles, and continuously improving infrastructure.
- Develop innovative cloud-based solutions and advise on future-ready strategies
- Implement proof-of-concepts and diverse architectural solutions
- Establish and promote best practices for testability, maintainability, and scalability
- Share expertise and mentor development teams
- Actively contribute to tech communities, conferences, and meet-ups
Required Skills/Experience
- Degree in IT-related disciplines (e.g., Informatics, Mathematics, Physics) or equivalent qualification/experience
- Proven experience in AWS, and Java, Python, or TypeScript.
- Skilled in microservices architecture, infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform), and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proficient in CI/CD tools and practices (e.g. Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Experience with scripting (e.g. PowerShell, Linux/Unix Shell) and enterprise cloud deployments
- Practical knowledge of interface development and database technologies (e.g. SQL, data warehousing)
Desirable Skills/Experience
- Familiarity with machine learning libraries and NLP technologies
- Bilingual fluency in English and German (minimum B2 level)
- Willingness to travel occasionally
