As a software engineer you will lead several technically complex designs, own and deliver solutions with full technical ownership while taking industrialization into account.
Role and responsibilities
As a software engineer, you perform critical design engineering tasks, in cooperation with other disciplines and suppliers. You maintain cross project view while working with multiple teams and other trains.
You will also:
- Take the lead in interfaces with suppliers, customers, other projects and other engineering disciplines in a less-defined environment (e.g. new supplier, NPI product).
- Participate in cross-sector teams to realize customer solutions (end-customer /sectors in Operations).
- Align on / thinks of solutions with counter parts from multiple adjacent groups. Collaborates with engineers in other trains.
- Design, develop, test and integrate software for ASML’s machines and applications.
- Guide and impact the work of peers, typically 3-5 engineers.
- Implement analytics, data, control and algorithms applications that give ASML customers the power to reach optimal performance during manufacturing.
Education and experience
- Master degree with thorough experience, or equivalent working and thinking level. Able to technically lead engineering team and advise management.
- You have complex sub-module knowledge within own area of expertise
- You have solid knowledge of neighboring parts / areas of expertise
- You possess complex module and system knowledge (how it interacts with other sub-systems)
- You are self-propelling within own area of expertise, subject to high-level managerial direction.
