We're looking for an exceptional technical leader to join our autonomous vehicle team as
Head of Algo Planning.
This is a
fully hands-on role, involving both deep technical ownership and the management of a small team of researchers working on real-time planning algorithms.
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge planning solutions for our Robo Taxi platform, enabling safe and intelligent motion in complex, dynamic environments.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical direction and development of the Planning domain: motion planning, behavioral planning, and decision-making
- Develop and implement real-time algorithms under physical and operational constraints
- Collaborate closely with teams across Perception, Mapping, Control, and System Integration
- Manage and mentor a team of 3 algorithm researchers
- Take ownership of production-grade code deployed directly on the vehicle
- Optimize system performance based on real-world data and testing
Requirements:
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Proven hands-on experience developing autonomous vehicle algorithms
- Deep expertise in one or more of the following: Motion Planning, Trajectory Optimization, Path Planning, Decision Making
- Proficient in C++ and Python
- Experience working with real-time systems (RT)
- Strong leadership, ownership, and system-level thinking
- Prior experience managing a small team – an advantage
