SUMMARY OVERVIEW
As the HR Director, you will lead our HR department, overseeing all aspects of human resources operations for our Into Plane Fuelling (ITP) business line. You will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with the company's goals, fostering a positive work culture, and ensuring HR initiatives support the growth and success of our organization. The HR Director ITP will report directly to the VP Human Resources.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the company's overall mission and objectives
- Lead and manage the local HR Teams and shared services, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative culture
- Manage new country entries, support in regional Start-ups and manage the integration of new sites/acquired businesses
- Consult managers and employees in all HR related matters
- Coordinate and perform negotiations with unions and representatives
- Implement talent acquisition strategies to attract, recruit and retain talent
- Oversee performance management systems and processes, including performance evaluations, career development and succession planning
- Develop and administer compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain talent while ensuring fairness and compliance
- Lead HR compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to employment laws and regulations across all countries
- Responsible for global reporting to parent company
- Partner with leadership to address employee relations issues, providing guidance and resolution strategies
- Support our HR community in any ad-hoc topics including integration of new employee groups/companies through acquisitions and new accounts
- May be assigned other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
- 18 years of age or older
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
- Proven experience ( 3-7 years) as an HR Director or similar senior HR role in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, preferably in aviation
- Strong understanding of global labor laws and regulations
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of building and managing international teams
- Positive mindset, can-do attitude and adaptability to fast-changing environments
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced and operationally complex environments
- Strong cultural awareness
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills as well as hands on mentality
- Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documents
- Travel required as needed
- Must be flexible to work extended hours on occasion to support our field operations
