The ideal candidate will spearhead IT projects' achievements within the media and telecommunications industries. The role will grant full ownership over the project's lifecycle, from initial quotation/analysis to design, implementation, and final acceptance. Achieving milestones with classic and agile project management methods, following processes, and ensuring that the team is on track. Presenting at the board level, conducting steering boards, and status reporting all within your responsibilities.
IT Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Drive project success by effectively applying both classic and agile project management methodologies to meet milestones and objectives.
- Take full ownership of IT projects, managing all phases from quotation and analysis to design, implementation, and final acceptance.
- Provide strategic insights through clear status reporting and steering board facilitation, including high-level presentations to senior management (GF/Board Level).
- Foster seamless collaboration by ensuring transparent and structured communication between stakeholders and the project team.
- Mitigate risks proactively, identifying potential challenges early and implementing effective solutions to ensure successful project delivery.
IT Project Manager Qualifications:
- Fluent in German, with strong communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders and teams.
- Lead projects for consolidation or transition / OSS project management experience
- Relevant academic background in business administration, economics, or business informatics, with a minimum GPA of 2.5.
- Extensive experience in IT project management, applying classic and agile methodologies—ideally within the telecommunications sector.
- Certified in industry-standard project management frameworks, such as PRINCE2, SCRUM, or ITIL, ensuring structured and efficient project execution.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive, open, and curious mindset to drive teams, resolve conflicts, and independently find effective solutions.
