Project Overview
We are currently seeking a Backend Software Engineer for our client in Stuttgart. You will be working in a hybrid setup as part of a cross-functional team, contributing to the development and optimization of backend systems using Java and Kotlin.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and further develop existing backend applications using Kotlin
- Design and implement backend components in collaboration with the frontend team
- Conduct code reviews and produce technical documentation
- Apply agile methodologies (Scrum) throughout the development lifecycle
- Integrate and evaluate new technologies to improve application performance
Requirements
- Several years of hands-on experience with Java and Kotlin
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and Java 21
- Experience with PostgreSQL databases and AWS hosting
- Solid understanding of automated testing, CI/CD, and agile methods
- Proven track record working in Scrum teams
