As part of our international development team, you will help evolve our globally used eCommerce platform. Our mission is to design digital purchasing processes that are efficient, secure, and customer-centric across more than 240 countries. As a C# Backend Developer, your main focus will be the development of scalable, high-performance, and secure server logic — particularly in the areas of payment processing and fraud prevention. With your basic frontend knowledge, you'll understand the interface between backend and frontend, helping to create smooth, high-performing end-to-end solutions.
Your Background
- 3–5 years of experience in C#/.NET ( .NET 8+ ) development, ideally in a payment or eCommerce environment
- Experience with databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar) and RESTful APIs
- Solid SQL skills for data analysis are a plus
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, preferably AWS ( EKS, RDS, S3, etc. )
- Basic familiarity with modern frontend frameworks such as TypeScript, React, Angular, or Vue is a plus
- Interest in new technologies, clean code, and agile software development
- Good command of English, both written and spoken
- Team player mentality with a sense of ownership and responsibility
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance modules in C#/.NET for our eCommerce/payment platform
- Integrate APIs, external services, and databases (mainly Oracle and PostgreSQL)
- Contribute to design decisions for scalable backend systems
- Ensure code quality through reviews, automated testing, and clean code principles
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, QA, and frontend colleagues within the team
- Support frontend tasks when needed (e.g., simple UI adjustments, optimizing interfaces)
