Freelance SDET | Test Automation Engineer | Computer Vision | Robotics | 12 Month Contract | Hesse
CBSbutler have partnered with a global engineering and technology company, who are developing next-generation automation platforms, in the search for a Test Automation engineer. You will join on a cutting edge robotics and computer vision project, which will require one day a week on site in the Hesse region of Germany.
In this role you will take ownership of running the automation tests on cutting edge computer vision algorithms and Robotics technology. If you're not available but know someone who would be, we do pay referral fees for successful referrals!
Please see below for what we're looking for:
- Strong experience as a Test Automation Engineer or SDET, testing experience with a software engineering mindset (“developer with a test hat”)
- C or C++ test automation proficiency, with exposure to system-level software testing
Desirable (Not essential)
- Hands-on experience with Computer Vision algorithm testing (OpenCV) – classical Computer Vision approaches preferred
- Knowledge of robotics frameworks such as ROS testing (Robot Operating System)
- Experience validating embedded systems or real-time robotics environments would be desirable but not essential
