We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented
Backend Software Developer with strong experience in
dependency management and a solid understanding of
Java libraries. Your main objective will be to ensure that our software remains
secure and up-to-date by addressing
Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) through responsible dependency management.
This role is crucial in maintaining the security and stability of our applications. Above all, however, it serves to comply with the regulatory requirements of DORA.
Your job – Your passion
- Update packages and dependencies using Java libraries to eliminate known CVEs
- Evaluate changelogs and release notes for updated packages to assess impact
- Ensure compatibility and functionality after updates by running tests and validating builds
- Collaborate with security and QA teams to verify the elimination of vulnerabilities
- Document changes and maintain a clear update history for traceability
Your profile – Your strengths
- Extensive experience in dependency management for backend systems
- Solid knowledge of Java libraries and how they are used in enterprise-grade applications
- Familiarity with identifying and resolving CVEs and other security issues in frontend projects
- Basic experience with automated testing and CI/CD processes
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem solving
- Good communication skills in English
