Role Overview
As an Investment Manager in our Munich office, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, evaluating, and managing investment opportunities that align with our sustainability mandate. You will work closely with senior team members across all stages of the investment cycle, from origination to portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis and execution of investment opportunities, including financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence.
- Develop investment theses and present findings to the investment committee.
- Manage relationships with portfolio companies, supporting strategic initiatives and value creation plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across different offices to leverage sector expertise and share best practices.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory developments related to sustainability and environmental impact.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or management consulting, with a focus on sustainability or industrial sectors.
- Proven track record of leading investment transactions and managing portfolio companies.
- Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English and German.
- Passion for sustainability and a deep understanding of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors.
