Role Overview
As a Private Equity Associate, you will play a key role in identifying, analyzing, and executing investment opportunities. You will work closely with senior team members on deal sourcing, financial modeling, due diligence, and portfolio management. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct industry research and market analysis to identify potential investment opportunities.
- Perform financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence on prospective deals.
- Assist in structuring and negotiating investment transactions.
- Collaborate with portfolio companies to drive value creation and operational improvements.
- Prepare investment memos, presentations, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends and contribute to strategic decision-making processes.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in private equity, investment banking, strategy consulting, or transaction services.
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, including LBO and DCF analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of corporate finance, M&A transactions, and investment strategies.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ).
- Fluency in English and German is highly preferred.
