For our Head Office in Munich Maximilianstr. we are looking for a
Human Resources Manager in Retail with passion and drive. Within the Central & Eastern Europe region (6 countries) you will be responsible for the full “360 HR CYCLE” for the designed scope of
2 countries Germany & Austria.
Your mission is to bring a strong positive impact to the teams & business - to drive a culture of empowerment, coaching, development, simplification and digitalization. You will work closely with the management to monitor and optimize team performance to business priorities. As a true partner in retail, you will be a key contact, and you will work closely with managers in their HR activities. You will be the main contact for the retail teams & Head Office teams.
The position is based in our Head Office in Munich Maximilianstr
. – min. 50 % travel activity is requested in a decentralized region.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Talent Experience / Talenteling
- Knowing our talents (e.g. with regular career meetings) and develop succession planning
- Coach managers on defining Individual Development Plans (IDPs) with all appropriate employees based on our Retail Career Path
- Mobilities in and out; coach and accompany employees on mobility
- Proactive planning of Missions - subject to individual performance/development and business needs and Buddy System
- Proactively drive RISE (internal LVMH Performance Career Review)
- Develop the OMR (Organization Management Review)
- Streamlining initiatives for talent experience
- Working closely with the training department on creating training plans
Candidate Experience & Attraction
- Fostering an exceptional candidate experience that reflects our luxury standards
- Reviewing the employer branding strategy & landscape of recruiting agencies
- Proactively source and actively recruit talents – partnering with the boutique teams (we are all recruiter mindset)
- Partner with the boutique management team and training team on onboarding programs for new talents
- Focusing and targeting the Future Retailers - e.g. on campus (apprentices, junior managers in retail)
HR operations / C&B
- Responsible for all monthly reporting requirements for the designed scope
- Ensuring HR procedures are legally compliant and in line with internal audit requirements
- Conduct the ICR (Indiv. Compensation Review) campaigns
- Ensuring the precise and timely execution of HR operations and preparation and follow up on budget (HC, FTE, salary review, staff costs, tax)
- Preparation of candidate packages in collaboration with C&B
- Deputizing for the payroll as needed to ensure smooth execution of all payroll processes
- Reviewing the benefit landscape & communicate about it (e.g. pension scheme)
Structure, process & transversal projects
- Continuing to strengthen the boutique structures and challenge the status quo
- Lead and participate in transversal HR & retail projects (e.g. HRIS, employee surveys etc.)
- Testing new methodologies and workflows in HR
- Take a proactive approach to CSR activities, always looking for new opportunities
- Ensure compliance on HR related health & safety topics
Profile
- You are experienced in the world of retail and/or hospitality
- With a master’s degree from a business school or university specializing in HR, you must have minimum 10 years' experience in a generalist HR retail position
- With strong interpersonal skills, you are generous and curious in your dealings, while being agile and result-oriented in a context of rapid change
- You are proactive, pragmatic and solution-oriented, and you have strong organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- You are goal-oriented with a strong drive for results and hands-on mentality
- Fluent in German and English
