About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to join our team in Rostock, Germany, supporting the delivery of a large-scale hydrogen project. As part of a leading EPC company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful planning, monitoring, and execution of project controls, driving efficiency, and maintaining budgetary and scheduling oversight. This is a hybrid working role, requiring a balance of on-site presence and remote flexibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage project control systems, including cost control, planning, and scheduling.
- Monitor project performance, ensuring alignment with budget, scope, and schedule.
- Provide accurate forecasting and reporting to senior management and project stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks to maintain project efficiency and adherence to timelines.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to track progress and address potential bottlenecks.
- Lead regular project control reviews and reporting sessions, ensuring transparency and data-driven decision-making.
- Utilize industry-standard project controls software to maintain accurate records and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of experience in project controls within the EPC, energy, or hydrogen sectors.
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling, cost control, and risk management tools and methodologies.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, SAP, or similar).
- Ability to analyze complex project data and provide actionable insights.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in German and English (both written and spoken) is essential.
- Willingness to be based in Rostock with a hybrid working arrangement.
