Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor software development teams working on enterprise-grade, mission-critical applications.
- Oversee the architecture, development, and modernization of our on-premises software infrastructure.
- Ensure system stability, high availability, and security in a regulated financial environment.
- Define and implement best practices for software development, integration, and deployment in legacy technology stacks.
- Drive the modernization of legacy systems, optimizing performance while maintaining compatibility with existing infrastructures.
- Collaborate closely with IT, Product, and Security teams to ensure seamless integration of enterprise solutions.
- Manage technical debt, system scalability, and regulatory compliance within a high-performance software environment.
- Develop and execute long-term technology strategies, balancing innovation with business continuity.
Knowledge and Experience
- Experience in enterprise software development and technology leadership with Proven background in on-premises, legacy-driven infrastructures—no reliance on cloud technologies.
- Experience leading large-scale, mission-critical applications in regulated industries (financial services, banking, insurance, or similar).
- Deep expertise in databases and Middleware Software Platforms.
- Strong technical understanding of Unix/Linux-based infrastructures and Windows Server environments.
- Strong grasp of CI/CD for on-prem environments, automation, and high-availability system architecture.
Language Requirements:
- German - Full professional proficiency (native or fluent) is required for effective communication with local teams and external stakeholders.
