For a leading multinational client in the B2B retail sector, we are currently seeking a
Global Head of Talent & Development (all genders)
to be based in either Munich or Stuttgart on a hybrid basis (60% office attendance per month)
This is an exciting opportunity to shape and further develop the enterprise-wide talent strategy. In this key role, you will drive and implement talent management, development, and employee experience strategies that align with the organisation’s business objectives. This position will work closely with the board on driving modern, holistic talent strategies and will provide a wide degree of design autonomy in best practice implementation.
Your Responsibilities:
- Drive excellence in talent management, acquisition, and development across the organisation. Collaborate with senior leadership and HR to design and implement impactful talent programs that align with business goals.
- Lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development, while building a strong internal talent pipeline.
- Identify and nurture high-potential employees, preparing them for leadership roles through talent reviews, assessments, and succession planning, ensuring the right talent to meet organizational objectives.
- Create scalable strategies to improve the employee experience journey. Strengthen company culture through engagement surveys, employee listening programs, and effective action planning.
- Develop and improve performance management processes to align with core values and competencies, ensuring growth and cultural alignment. Implement performance programs based on data-driven insights.
- Partner closely with business leaders and cross-functional teams to understand workforce needs. Develop tailored talent solutions, from onboarding to development, to enhance employee experience and integration.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, optimising systems and programs to maximise efficiency and create greater value for the global HR team, business leaders, and employees.
Your Profile:
- Proven leadership and management skills, with expertise in talent management and employee development best practices.
- Experience in design and deployment of talent development strategies on a regional or global scale
- An understanding of modern employee experience and engagement practices
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and build lasting relationships.
- Experience with HRIS or other talent systems/technologies, ensuring alignment with organizational talent programs.
- A bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or a related field.
