Join as a Junior Backend Engineer in Team Fort Knox that develops the secure card data environment for our payment transaction solutions. The team works as an agile product development team with now four Software Engineers, a Product Owner, and a Scrum Master.

Your tasks
- Ensure that payment data is securely handled and stored in a compliant manor.
- Enhance and evolve the systems architecture.
- Work on new solutions to improve the product and the company.
- Develop, deploy, test and maintain the system End-to-End (you build it, you run it).
- Collaborate closely with other teams and customers, integrating our products.
- Continuously learn and improve your own toolbelt and skills, sharing learnings with the team and company.
Your experience
- Passion for backend engineering and eagerness to learn and grow in the field.
- Experience with JVM-based languages such as Java, Spring Boot, or Kotlin.
- Exposure & interest to modern cloud platforms e.g. GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Basic understanding of microservices architecture and security principles e.g. authentication, authorization, encryption/decryption is an advantage.
- Fluent in English, with good communication skills.
- Interest in the payment industry, including concepts like PCI-DSS compliance, tokenization.
