Piper Maddox are representing a global players German team to grow as their projects shape the renewable landscape, driving innovation in solar PV and battery energy storage (BESS). As they expand in Germany, they are looking for a Project Manager – Permitting & Development to take ownership of regulatory processes and ensure seamless project execution.
Your role would include the following:
This role is all about impact. You’ll take charge of navigating the complex permitting landscape, ensuring our PV and BESS projects meet regulatory standards while staying on track. You’ll be the bridge between their technical teams, authorities, and stakeholders, making sure their projects progress efficiently from concept to construction.
- Drive the entire permitting process for multiple renewable energy projects in Germany.
- Evaluate project viability, conducting due diligence and identifying potential risks.
- Engage with landowners, regulators, and key stakeholders to secure approvals and land-use agreements.
- Coordinate specialist teams, engineers, and legal advisors to streamline compliance.
- Champion their projects in public forums, ensuring transparency and positive stakeholder relationships.
What You Bring
We’re looking for someone with the expertise, foresight, and resilience to lead permitting activities in a fast-moving sector. If you have:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in project permitting for PV and/or BESS projects in Germany.
- Fluency in German and English to navigate technical and regulatory discussions effortlessly.
