The state-recognized HFH - Hamburger Fern-Hochschule is one of the largest private universities in Germany. At our university, we are looking to fill the position of
PHP developer (f/m/d) to be filled.
This is a permanent full-time position (part-time also possible).
Your Tasks
- Support & consulting in the definition of functional and non-functional requirements
- Technical conception and software implementation of Symfony-based web projects
- Support for application and database development
- Active involvement in the technological development of our web applications
- Programming in PHP (Symfony), JavaScript & MySQL
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training in the IT sector or relevant professional experience
- Knowledge of PHP8, HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript in the environment of agile web development
- Experience with the Symfony Framework 5.x & 6.x (PHP)
- Knowledge of working with databases (MySQL)
- Confident handling of common development tools (PhpStorm, Git, Composer)
- Experience with UNIX (Linux) systems - terminal/console are no foreign words
- Experience in the administration of Linux web servers is an advantage, but not a must
- Critical eye for user-friendliness
- Business fluent in written and spoken German
- Analytical and structured working and thinking
- Ability to work in a team and quality awareness
