One of Frankfurt’s newest start-up banks is looking for a (Senior) IT Project Manager to join their IT team, based in Frankfurt (or remote in Germany). In this role, you will be a player within a small team to satisfy the demands of the firm’s growing presence. This is a multifaceted role where you will implement, plan and control a variety of IT projects across the business that are essential to the growth of the business.
The successful candidate will be a motivated individual that wants to shape an environment that is built on compliant IT and software infrastructure in a fast-paced and energetic environment.
Terrific communication, collaboration skills, and a positive attitude towards both team members and a wide scope of internal customers are critical to success within this role.
Responsibilities
- Your role as (Senior) IT Project Manager will see you as a crucial part of the Operations & IT department within the company
- Take complete ownership of the planning, control and implementation of IT projects (including reporting, requirements and test management) across the business
- Transfer of requirements from business and specialist areas into successful IT projects
- Strong management of both internal and external stakeholders
- Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth integration of IT services, paying strong attention to security, regulatory aspects and data protection; explain and enforce internal processes
Requirements
- Business fluent in German and English is a must
- A degree in computer science, economics, business informatics or similar would be preferred, although not essential
- At least 5 years of professional experience in IT Project Management and previous work in a regulated environment with a focus on retail banking and/or export finance (a plus)
- Strong communication skills and team spirit
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Sound knowledge of ITIL or other relevant frameworks
- Application of project management techniques and tools
- Knowledge and experience in the following areas is a plus: Atlassian (Jira, Confluence), Test Automation, cloud computing and REST APIs
