Job Purpose
Responsible for managing the daily HR operations across all Europe sites while stabilizing and aligning HR practices. The role will focus on streamlining HR processes, ensuring compliance, and providing direct support for employee relations and organizational needs. The role will ensure smooth HR operations, manage ongoing HR tasks, and be proactive in resolving any challenges related to the integration of new teams. Over time, this role has the potential to evolve into a leadership position as the HR team expands.
Responsibilities
- Daily HR Operations: Manage day-to-day HR tasks, including payroll, employee inquiries, documentation, and benefits administration, ensuring smooth HR operations across all locations.
- Harmonize HR Processes & Follow Group Policy: Standardize and align HR policies and procedures across the locations and newly acquired entities to ensure consistency and efficiency, while ensuring compliance with the company's group policies.
- Employee Relations & Support: Address employee concerns, provide guidance, and assist with conflict resolution to maintain a positive work environment.
- Talent Acquisition & Retention: Manage recruitment processes and retention strategies, particularly focusing on integrating employees from newly acquired entities.
- Performance Management: Support managers in performance reviews, and feedback to drive employee development and engagement.
- Compliance & Legal Oversight: Ensure adherence to German labor laws and company policies, addressing any legal or regulatory updates as necessary.
- Training & Development: Coordinate training initiatives and onboarding for new hires, especially from acquired entities, to support smooth integration.
- Change Management & Communication: Facilitate clear communication of HR policies and updates, especially during the integration process, to ensure transparency across the organization.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in an HR generalist or operations role, with significant experience in managing day-to-day HR operations across multiple sites and entities.
- Proven ability to manage and streamline HR functions, particularly in the context of mergers and acquisitions or organizational changes.
- Strong understanding of German labor laws and HR best practices, particularly in managing employee relations and compliance.
- Fluency in both German and English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple daily HR tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage HR operations proactively.
- Leadership potential with a desire to grow into a team-leading role in the future.
- Preferred: Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment, with an understanding of the unique HR needs in these sector.
