Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join our client’s team in Frankfurt, Germany (relocation and package for this available), focusing on projects within the pharmaceutical sector. This role involves developing, managing, and maintaining comprehensive project schedules to ensure successful delivery of large-scale projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project planning, scheduling, and risk assessment, along with expertise in Primavera P6 and a strong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring they encompass the full project scope, milestones, and timelines using critical path methodology.
• Define clear responsibility and ownership for all project outcomes through Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) methodology.
• Ensure schedules align with the project execution plan, including contracting, procurement, and project control strategies.
• Establish and maintain a method for baselining schedules, managing periodic updates, and ensuring accuracy.
• Manage fully integrated project schedules, structuring them for review at various levels of detail.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to negotiate and mediate timelines and project interdependencies, driving optimal client outcomes.
• Provide regular updates on schedule progress, highlighting any deviations or risks to timelines.
• Review external schedules to ensure adherence to scheduling best practices and standards.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in project planning and scheduling, ideally within the pharmaceutical or related sectors.
• Expertise in quantitative risk assessment (QRA), with the ability to interpret and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 software for schedule development and management.
• A degree or equivalent experience in project management, construction, or a related discipline.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and precision in planning.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, effectively managing priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and drive successful project delivery.
