Are you a HR Generalist or People Partner with a strong knowledge of German employment legislation?
At European Tech Recruit we are working alongside a highly innovative data and AI Software company, helping them bring on board a HR generalist to work on a hybrid remote basis in Munich.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders to foster trust, respect, and professionalism.
- Collaborate with the People and Talent teams to implement HR initiatives that enhance performance and align with business objectives.
- Champion a high-performance culture by recognizing and developing talent while addressing and supporting improvements in underperformance.
- Foster a dynamic and collaborative work environment that is both engaging and enjoyable.
- Stay up to date with employment laws, ensuring policies are compliant with current legislation and industry best practices.
- Prepare contracts and process documentation related to employee changes.
- Maintain accurate employee records in the HR system, including role changes, contractual amendments, leave, and absences.
- Generate and manage reports for data analysis and performance metrics.
- Conduct right-to-work checks for all employees.
- Handle reference requests for current and former employees.
- Ensure Workstation Risk Assessments are completed for all employees, including new hires.
- Support the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding.
- Maintain electronic employee records in compliance with GDPR and ensure proper archiving procedures.
- Develop and update templates for letters, policies, and guides as required.
- Assist with benefits administration, including medical and social benefits where applicable.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Hands-on experience in HR-related roles.
- Proficiency in both German and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid understanding of employment legislation and its practical application in employee relations.
- Experience in guiding and supporting line managers through periods of change.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, demonstrating discretion and professionalism.
