We are looking for a dedicated PHP / Laravel Backend Developer (m/f/d) to support our tech team in ensuring the availability and reliability of our systems!
Herodikos is an innovative company in the field of digital health. We develop digital programs for the treatment of back and knee pain - two conditions that lead to 53 million treatments in Germany every year. What tasks await you?
- Development and optimization of cloud-based, highly available APIs with Laravel.
- Design and implementation of new backend functionalities.
- Integration of third-party APIs and services.
- Performing code reviews and quality assurance measures to ensure the highest standards.
- Working with front-end developers to ensure smooth integrations.
- Continuous development and improvement of our applications and systems.
What should you bring with you?
- Several years of experience in development with the Laravel framework.
- Sound knowledge of PHP, MySQL and RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with modern development tools and methods.
- Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
- Strong interest in personal and professional development.
Bonus Points Are Awarded For
- Experience with PHPUnit or Pest testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of containerization with Docker.
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Familiarity with agile development methods (Scrum, Kanban).
- Knowledge of the development of microservices.
