Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the development, management, and continuous improvement of complex project schedules using Primavera P6. This role involves working closely with internal stakeholders, subcontractors, and other project teams to ensure schedule compliance, progress tracking, and performance evaluation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling & Standardization:
- Support the standardization of scheduling processes across projects.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of resource-loaded and leveled project schedules.
- Schedule Management:
- Develop and maintain complex project schedules, including work breakdown structures (WBS), logic links, constraints, and earned value reporting.
- Ensure schedule quality standards are met, preparing schedules for effective change and risk management processes.
- Track schedule performance, manage float, and support schedule slippage recovery efforts.
- Performance Monitoring:
- Implement key metrics and benchmarks (internal and external) to gauge schedule performance and promote continuous improvement.
- Provide earned value analysis and reporting for effective project controls.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Participate in schedule update meetings and facilitate discussions on schedule progress and changes.
- Work closely with subcontractors to ensure schedule requirement compliance, accurate updates, and recovery planning.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Prior experience in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects involving collaboration with engineering, procurement, and contractor teams.
- Intermediate knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or MS Project for schedule development and tracking.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.
- Basic understanding of project controls functions and critical path method (CPM) concepts.
