This position follows a hybrid work model and requires at least
two days per week in the office. We have three locations in Germany: one in the beautiful Bavarian city of Munich, and our headquarters in Berlin. The whole company comes together once a year to celebrate our successes together. This is a temporary position with 1 year duration.
What You Will Be Doing
As People & Organization Lead (all genders) you will ensure the smooth execution of all people-related operations. With a focus on maintaining efficient HR processes, compliance, end-to-end recruiting, and employee experience, you will be the go-to person for all things “people.” This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, is passionate about streamlining operations, and enjoys fostering a positive and supportive workplace.
HR Operations
- Ensure smooth execution of core HR processes, including payroll, benefits administration, and employee lifecycle management (onboarding, offboarding, etc.).
- Maintain and improve HR systems and tools for efficiency and scalability.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date policies and procedures
- Oversee accurate and secure employee record management.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee queries and concerns, fostering a positive and open workplace culture.
- Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction, including pulse surveys and follow-up actions.
Talent Acquisition & Performance Management
- Own and drive the end-to-end recruiting process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Support managers with performance review cycles, goal-setting, and coaching for employee development.
Communication & Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure HR initiatives align with overall business objectives and drive organizational success.
- Plan and execute initiatives to enhance cross-functional communication and collaboration.
- Regularly assess and refine HR processes to ensure they meet the evolving needs of the organization.
What You Bring To The Team
- 5+ years of experience in HR, People Operations, or related roles, ideally in a growing company, with a strong ability to manage and improve core HR processes and systems.
- Solid knowledge of employment law and compliance requirements in Germany; knowledge of Spain, Poland, or Italy would be a plus.
- Strong experience in full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition, including developing hiring strategies and supporting workforce planning.
- A people-first mindset: passionate about creating an excellent employee experience, highly organized, proactive, and adaptable to a dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and solution-oriented mindset, comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Fluent in German and English
