Join us as Senior Product Designer (m/f/x) and contribute to the future of playful innovation with the following responsibilities (please note: this is not a UI/UX design role):
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end product design process, from research and prototyping to final product design and implementation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and refine product requirements.
- Identify market trends and create new concepts for our product lines.
- Drive creative discussions to define new projects and manage the existing product family.
- Design and develop textile-based products, such as plush toys or fabric activity books, including pattern creation and ensuring feasibility with production partners.
- Work closely with marketing to develop promotional materials and provide training for the sales and marketing teams.
- Oversee graphic design contributions to ensure project success.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in product development, ideally within the toy, book, or related industries.
- Expertise in textile product development (e.g., plush toys, fabric activity books), including pattern creation and manufacturing processes.
- A creative yet pragmatic mindset, balancing innovation with feasibility.
- Strong artistic sensibility with an affinity for children, families, and lifestyle themes.
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud, Rhino).
- Strong product design experience with an emphasis on tangible, physical goods.
- Excellent organizational and workflow management skills.
- Fluency in English and German to collaborate within our international team.
- Experience or affinity with graphics and illustration is a plus.

Location: This position is based in Bamberg, Germany, where you’ll be able to work 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
