We are seeking for a motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead a new Project based in Viersen, NRW. The position is contract based and limited with a 1 year. Also Freelancer are more than welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure site safety by enforcing the Client's safety rules and German construction regulations (DGUV, Baustellenverordnung). Conduct daily safety inspections and prepare work permits, including hot work permits. Collaborate with the SiGeKo to implement safety measures.
- Project Planning and Coordination:
Review schedules, understand contractor resource allocation, and align workflows with the Client's team. Lead daily toolbox meetings to ensure smooth communication and progress.
Review technical drawings, risk assessments, and construction plans. Ensure all materials and workmanship meet quality standards.
Maintain records of site activities, permits, and reports. Ensure compliance with HOAI LPH-8 (Site Supervision) and LPH-9 (Project Documentation).
Monitor construction quality, conduct site audits, and address any deviations promptly with corrective actions.
- Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as the primary contact between the Client and contractors. Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and solutions.
Ensure compliance with local and national regulations, building codes, and guidelines. Support inspections and approvals by regulatory bodies.
Familiarize with the Client's emergency response procedures and ensure compliance during site activities.
Additional Duties:
Take on tasks related to construction works assigned by the Employer. Support cost control, claims management, and coordination activities.
