As our new Junior Product Designer (d/f/m), you will support our mission by playing a crucial role in shaping the user experience and visual identity of our products. As the first design hire in our company, you will collaborate closely with our Product Manager and Marketing team to enhance the usability and appeal of our digital assets and software. With your creative skills, you'll help us deliver designs that captivate and engage users across all platforms.
This is a flexible
part-time position (20 hours per week) and an exciting opportunity to grow your design career while making a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities In This Role
- Work closely with developers to deliver app and website assets in a structured, implementation-ready format, ensuring smooth integration into the product.
- Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability tests alongside our Product Manager to uncover user insights and identify pain points.
- Create app mockups, interactive prototypes for product development.
- Design social media assets, templates, and campaign creatives for various platforms and seasonal promotions.
Key skills we think help you succeed in this role
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD, and experience with animation tools for dynamic social media assets.
- Ability to solve design challenges through user research, usability testing, and creating engaging, user-centric designs across various media.
- A creative and analytical mindset with attention to detail, enabling you to deliver high-quality designs that align with business and user needs.
- Strong communication skills in English and the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams, German is a plus.
