Key Responsibilities Overview:
- Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for growth and increased market share in the DACH region.
- Collaborate with Partner and Marketing teams to strengthen sales channels and marketing efforts.
- Engage with C-level executives in client organizations to forge new business opportunities and long-term partnerships.
- Monitor market trends, competition, and regulatory changes to guide business strategy.
Sales and Business Development:
- Lead the sales team to meet quarterly targets and revenue goals.
- Drive initiatives for pipeline generation and enhance revenue opportunities.
- Cultivate relationships with key clients such as venues and event organizers.
- Formulate and execute effective sales strategies, including pricing and negotiations.
Operational Management:
- Work with Customer Success teams to boost satisfaction and ensure successful solution deployment.
- Collaborate with Product Development to align software offerings with market needs.
Team Leadership:
- Recruit and nurture a high-performing, diverse team.
- Promote internal collaboration and a positive, innovative work culture.
- Mentor sales teams to enhance opportunity identification and closure rates, while setting performance goals and providing feedback.
Marketing and Brand Management:
- Design and implement marketing strategies to boost brand visibility and demand.
- Work with marketing teams on campaign creation and promotional materials.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
Financial Management:
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
- Optimize resource use for profitability and ensure accurate sales reporting to the Global SVP of Sales.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- At least 10 years of experience in sales or business development, ideally within the software or technology sectors.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets in the DACH ticketing/events/entertainment industry.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in German and English.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
