ZeroMOUSE™ is an AI-powered device made in Germany that prevents cats from bringing prey, such as mice or birds, into the house. It seamlessly integrates with various microchip cat flaps and offers features like night vision and detailed tracking of blocked entry attempts.

We are looking for a Junior Software Developer to join our engineering team in Unterschleißheim near Munich.

Tasks

You will have the opportunity to enhance and improve various components of our system: The firmware of our embedded ZeroMOUSE device, our backend, the machine learning pipeline, and our infrastructure setup. Our system is based on the ESP32-S3 SoC, AWS (IoT, DynamoDB, Lambda, SageMaker), and Tensorflow. Most of our code is written in C/ C++, Python, and JavaScript.

Requirements

Strong problem-solving skills
Good understanding of computer science fundamentals
Passion for clean, simple, and robust code
Ideally, initial experience in (microcontroller) programming with C or C++
Exposure to Python or AWS is a plus
Good communication skills in German or English
